The free online whiteboard for thinking visually
Sketch diagrams, flowcharts, wireframes and mind maps on an infinite hand-drawn canvas. Everything competing tools charge for — unlimited boards, version history, PDF export — is free here, and your work never leaves your browser.
Whiteboard
Blackboard
Dark
Blueprint
Four canvas surfaces, including a low-glare blackboard mode.
Everything you need on one canvas
Built for speed first — open a board and draw. The heavier features are there when you need them.
Hand-drawn feel
Shapes render with a relaxed, sketched style that keeps early ideas feeling like ideas — not finished specs.
Infinite canvas
Pan and zoom forever. Rough out a whole system on one board instead of squeezing into slides.
Unlimited boards
Create as many boards as you want, all saved privately in your browser. No account, no per-board paywall.
Version history
Snapshot before a big change and roll back any time. Auto-snapshots run while you work.
Blackboard & dark mode
Draw on white, true dark, deep blueprint blue, or a chalkboard green that's genuinely easy on the eyes.
Text to diagram
Type Mermaid syntax and get a real, editable diagram — flowcharts, sequences and class diagrams.
11 workshop templates
Flowcharts, mind maps, wireframes, kanban, SWOT, retros, business model canvas, empathy maps and more — one click away.
Presentation mode
Split your board into frames and present them as slides, fullscreen — the paid feature elsewhere, free here.
Sticky notes
Drop colour-coded sticky notes for brainstorms, retros and affinity mapping, just like Miro and FigJam.
Session timer
A built-in workshop timer to time-box brainstorms and retros — no paid workspace required.
PNG, SVG & PDF export
Export at 1×–3×, with transparency or a dark theme. PDF export included, free.
Private by design
Everything runs in your browser and stays on your device. Nothing is uploaded to a server, ever.

Frequently asked questions
Is Drawka really free?+
Yes. Every feature on this page — unlimited boards, version history, presentation mode, sticky notes, a session timer, workshop templates, text-to-diagram and PNG/SVG/PDF export — is free, with no account and no watermark. Features that Miro and FigJam put behind a subscription are included here at no cost.
Do I need to create an account?+
No. Drawka opens straight into the canvas. Your boards are saved automatically in your own browser's storage, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into.
Where are my drawings stored?+
On your own device, in your browser's local database. Nothing is uploaded to a server, which means your work stays private and the editor keeps working even if you go offline.
Does Drawka work offline?+
Yes. Once the page has loaded, Drawka keeps working without a connection — your boards are stored in your browser, so you can keep drawing on a plane or anywhere else.
Can I use it on a tablet or with a stylus?+
Yes. Drawing, panning and pinch-zoom all work with touch and stylus input, including pressure sensitivity on devices that support it.
What is blackboard mode?+
It swaps the canvas for a chalkboard-green surface and switches your default ink to chalk white. It is much lower-glare than a white canvas for long sessions, and it looks great for teaching and explainer diagrams.
Can I export my work?+
Yes. Export a PNG at 1×, 2× or 3× resolution (optionally with a transparent background), a scalable SVG, or a PDF. You can also copy the board straight to your clipboard.
